| There is no free access. If you bring your lap top it will cost you $35. for a week on a wifi card or you could use the business center where the computers are $12. per hour and less for shorter periods of time. |

I understand the bills must be paid, but there are places like Amsterdam Manor and Manchebo that offer free computers to use or wi-fi hookups.
Saying that, we did bring our laptop the last couple years and paid the fee to access the Setarnet system. As we stay for 3 weeks, we paid the fee for a month ($70) which turned out to be a saving of one week at the usual rate of $35 a week.
Last year, our laptop had severe problems so we "resorted" to using the internet computers at ABC...less e-mail chat, just sending and receiving "important" messages. There are only 2 computers. It was something like $13 an hour...but you could save time and come back after you recorded your access number. We managed to get by with a few hours...so we spent less than the $70, but also had a lot less computer time...and we lost the convenience of accessing the internet from our room. |

| John, we were recently told that there is no access at ABC for the internet anymore. |

I am in an Ambassador unit right now and just finished setting up my internet connection, and so far it seems to be excellent. The $35 price tag doe suck however. _________________

I am here right now and using my laptop in my room. The cost is $35 per week or $70 per month. If you think you will be using it alot then it is worth it. I have SKYPE and video call my kids a lot because that is free and much better than just hearing their voice on the phone. Yes, there is still internet access at ABC in the internet center and CDM in the business center.
Copying from Aisa's CDM monthy report--
"Internet Services in the Public Area:
In addition to the Internet service in the Business Centre and WiFi service in the rooms for laptops, now we also have a self-service Internet Kiosk (desk) close to the Coffee & Tea Station. It accepts both credit cards and cash (exact change) and is available 24 hours a day. Plans are to have similar set-up at the Ambassador Wing shortly. "
Hope this helps. _________________ [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/]
